QuizKnockと巡る江戸東京博物館展ポスター

The Edo-Tokyo Museum, which opened in 1993 as a place where people could look back on the history and culture of Edo Tokyo, and consider the future of the city and its lifestyles, is currently closed for major renovations. This exhibition introduces the history and culture of Edo, including how the town was developed, as well as the daily life, economy, culture, and entertainment therein, in an easy-to-understand manner through items selected from the “Edo Zone” of the Edo-Tokyo Museum’s permanent exhibition. The exhibition will feature the museum’s abundant collection, from ukiyo-e prints and various other paintings, to historical materials such as coins and tools that show clearly how the people of the time lived their lives, and popular hands-on models/reproductions like “A Palanquin for Alternate Attendance” and “Wares of an Edo Period Street Merchant” from the permanent exhibition.
The Edo-Tokyo Museum has also collaborated with QuizKnock, a quiz media company created at The University of Tokyo, in order to delve deeper into the history of Edo through QuizKnock’s unique perspective.
