Permanent Exhibition

The spacious permanent exhibition hall, covering approximately 9,000 square meters, spans the 5th and 6th floors. It is divided into three sections: the Edo Zone, the Tokyo Zone, and the Feature Exhibition Gallery. The permanent exhibition displays full-scale reconstructions based on thorough research, detailed scale models that recreate historic cityscapes, and everyday objects once used by people in the past. Visitors can explore, learn about, and experience the city and culture of Edo-Tokyo and the daily lives of its people.
