Admission
Admission for Permanent Exhibition
Admission is free for any holders of a physical disability certificate, intellectual disability certificate, rehabilitation certificate, mental health and welfare certificate, or an official designation as an atomic bomb survivor, as well as their attending caregivers (up to two people).
*Please be sure to bring one of the above certificates. You can also enter by presenting your Mirairo ID.
*For special exhibition and combined tickets of permanent exhibition + special exhibition, please refer to the Tickets/Admission.
Parking
Priority parking is available for people with disabilities. Parking will be free upon presentation of one of the above certificates.
Assistance dogs
Assistance dogs (guide dogs, service dogs, and hearing dogs) are permitted to enter with you.
Wheelchairs, strollers, walking sticks, and walking aid carts
You can use these to enter and view the museum.
We also have wheelchairs and strollers available for rental (1st, 5th, and 6th floors), so please ask a member of staff nearby.
Facilities
Accessible toilet
There are four locations on the 1st floor, one on the 3rd floor, three on the 5th floor, one on the 6th floor, and one on the 7th floor.
*Baby chairs, diaper changing table, and ostomate facilities are available (not available in some toilets).
*There are two restrooms on the first floor that are equipped with adult diaper changing tables. Please ask a member of staff nearby.
Baby Care Room
Located on the 1st and 5th floors.
*The 1st floor is equipped with a diaper changing table and a nursing sofa. The 5th floor has a basic space for changing diapers.
Diaper changing table
Available in the accessible toilets on each floor and in the women's restroom on the 5th floor.
First-Aid Station
Located on the 1st and 5th floors. Please ask a nearby staff member if you wish to use it.
Water cooler (Tokyowater Drinking Station)
Located on the 1st, 3rd, 5th and 7th floors. (Wheelchair accessible)
Some areas also have water supply stations.
AED
Located on the Basement 1st, 1st, 3rd, 5th, 6th and 7th floors.
